Just outside the entrance to Banff National Park, Canmore is a convenient home base from which to visit the park but it also has plenty to offer in its own right. This photograph was taken just a short walk away from the Canmore Nordic Centre, which played host to the cross-country skiing events at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games.
